So much is going on, that I am not sure where to begin! As many of you know, Elise has her own blog going! She has decided that she wants to shoot weddings, and in fact had a very successful show at the Metropolitan Bride wedding extravaganza last Sunday! She also has her own website www.eliseellisphotography.com/blog Visit her there....
After five years of being in Ozark, I have decided to do what I should have done in the first place--I am going to change the name of the studio to Martha J. Dameron, Photography, LLC from Vaughn Portrait Park. I have operated under my own name for many years, and have had to continue to be listed in the phone book under both names, so I am going to transition everything to my own name now. I am really excited about the change...Additionally, I am going to go back to working the way I used to--by appointment only. Each session will have a pre-portrait consultation where we design together the portrait that best reflects you and yours. We will choose whether to do the photography here in the garden or at your favorite place--a much more customized portrait session will result from this. I will be limiting the number of portrait sessions that I accept, so that I can concentrate on creating exactly what you want.
I am also going to be taking more time for landscape, nature and fine art photography. This has always made my heart sing, and I want to follow that dream. Currently, I have a line of cards that are scenes from the Ozark Farmers Market and Bluegrass Jam that occurs on Thursday evenings. I am also working on some scenes from Colorado and Kansas.
Keep watching here to see some of my latest work. I have a specific project that I am wanting to get started on, but I will tell you more about that later...
For now, enjoy life.....
Martha, I have always loved your landscapes. I still have the winter scene hanging in my house. Are you planning on posting them for sale? I looked at the website but didn't see them.
